Afspa imposed in six Manipur areas again

The Indian government has reinstated the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act in six police station areas of Manipur. This includes Jiribam, which has experienced recent violence. The decision comes after a review of the security situation in the state. The areas affected are Sekmai, Lamsang, Lamlai, Jiribam, Leimakhong, and Moirang.
