Telangana to exempt EVs 100% from road tax & registration fee

The Telangana government announced a 100% exemption on road tax and registration fees for all categories of electric vehicles until December 31, 2026. This initiative aims to encourage the adoption of EVs and combat pollution. The exemption applies to electric two-wheelers, cars, auto-rickshaws, goods carriers, tractors, and buses, offering potential savings of up to Rs 2 lakh for car buyers.
