‘Kanguva’ box office collections day 7: Suriya’s film crosses Rs 60 crores

Suriya's latest film 'Kanguva' has grossed Rs 62.40 crore at the Indian box office within its first week, earning Rs 2.40 crore on its seventh day. Despite facing mixed reviews, the movie recorded a 13.72 percent Tamil occupancy rate and 9.08 percent Hindi occupancy on day seven. Jyothika, Suriya's wife and actor, took to Instagram to defend the film against negative critiques, praising its visual effects and questioning the lack of similar scrutiny towards other big-budget films with problematic content.
