Biden Announces Israel-Lebanon Ceasefire Deal: 'Good News For Middle East'

President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that Israel and Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militia in Lebanon, had agreed to a US-brokered ceasefire. Joe Biden said, "Today I have good news from the Middle East. I just spoke with the Prime Minister of Israel and Lebanon. I am pleased to announce that governments accepted the US proposals to end the devastating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah."
