NIA registers case in Jiribam violence in Manipur along with two other cases

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating three cases related to the recent violence in Manipur. These include the burning of houses and murder of eight people in Borobekra, an attack on security posts, and the rape and murder of a woman in Jiribam. The NIA has re-registered the cases and begun its investigation, taking over from local police.
