Tiger Shroff extends financial help to struggling crew member amid Pooja Entertainment's payment issues

​​Pooja Entertainment, founded by producer Vashu Bhagnani, has been under scrutiny for allegedly withholding payments to cast and crew members who worked on several of their projects, including the recent release Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Shroff and Akshay Kumar. Recently, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari stated that Vashu Bhagnani owed over Rs 65 lakh to crew members who worked on three of his films Mission Raniganj, Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

In a heartwarming gesture, Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has extended financial assistance to focus puller Ravi Kumar, who was facing hardship due to non-payment of dues by production company Pooja Entertainment. 45-year-old Kumar, who worked on Shroff's debut film Heropanti, met with an accident last year that left him bedridden for eight months. Kumar, who was struggling to make ends meet after exhausting his savings on medical bills, had been reportedly promised payment for his work on the unreleased film Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The production house has faced a series of box office failures in recent years. When Shroff got to know about Kumar's situation, he promptly stepped in to help. "His mum (Ayesha Shroff) called me on Tuesday. Tiger might not remember that I worked on his debut film. But as a human being, he still came forward to help," Kumar told Hindustan Times. The Shroff family has always supported film crew members in need. This act of kindness by Tiger Shroff comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Pooja Entertainment's alleged non-payment of fees to actors and crew members associated with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Recently, Federation of Western India Cine Employees ( FWICE ) president BN Tiwari stated that Vashu Bhagnani owed over Rs 65 lakh to crew members who worked on three of his films Mission Raniganj, Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Soon after, Vashu's son, Jackky Bhagnani had revealed in a statement, "Akshay sir met me recently to discuss this matter. Upon learning about this situation, Akshay sir didn't hesitate to step forward and show his support for the crew. He has insisted that his payments be placed on hold until every single cast and crew member working on our projects receive their full and final payment. We are incredibly grateful for Akshay sir’s understanding and his willingness to stand with us during this time. The movie business hinges on strong relationships and that is the spirit we strive to foster at Pooja Entertainment."
