Jammu and Kashmir's Chief Election Officer, P.K. Pole, announced, "The highest voter turnout was recorded at 79.95% in the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi constituency, Katra, and voting is still ongoing at some polling stations. Reasi district, which comprises three constituencies, has the highest overall voter turnout of 74.14%. In Poonch, voter turnout reached 73.78%, followed by Rajouri at 69.85%, Ganderbal at 62.63%, and Budgam at 61.31%. In Srinagar, the turnout stands at 29.24%, though voting continues at certain polling stations." The figures reflect varied participation across regions, with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi constituency seeing the highest engagement, while voter turnout in Srinagar remains comparatively low but is still in progress at select stations.
