UPI transactions clock more than Rs 20 lakh crore for 5 straight months

India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) recorded over Rs 20.64 lakh crore in payments in September, marking its fifth consecutive month above this threshold. Transaction volume grew by 42% year-on-year to more than 1500 crore. Average daily transactions exceeded 50 crore, highlighting UPI's role in digital financial transformation.
