Dry Days October 2024 : Liquor shops will close for six days in October and November due to national holidays and religious festivals. The excise department announced closures on Gandhi Jayanti, Vijaya Dashami, Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti, Diwali, Guru Nanak Jayanti, and Guru Tegh Bahadur Shaheedi Diwas. Hotels with specific licenses can serve liquor to resident guests.
