REC signs Rs 3 lakh crore financing agreement with Rajasthan government for power projects

State-owned REC has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rajasthan government to finance power and non-power infrastructure projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore. The financing will be provided over six years, increased from Rs 20,000 crore to Rs 50,000 crore annually up to 2030. REC, under the Ministry of Power, focuses on power sector financing in India.
