Ludhiana DC and SSP encourage farmers to work with Punjab government to protect environment from harmful effects of stubble burning

Ludhiana's Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal and SSP Navneet Singh Bains visited several villages to engage with farmers about the detrimental effects of stubble burning. They emphasized the importance of adopting residue management practices, supported by 8978 farming machines, to combat pollution and preserve soil fertility.
