SC seeks ED response on ex-WB minister Partha Chatterjee's bail plea in recruitment case

The Supreme Court has asked the Enforcement Directorate to respond to former West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee’s bail plea related to recruitment irregularities in state primary schools. A special CBI court is directed to expedite the decision within 10 days, considering the allegations and evidence including Rs 49.80 crore in cash and gold bars recovered.
