Sean O'Neil, a 54-year-old retired NYPD officer, shot his wife dead before killing himself with the same gun on Wednesday. The murder-suicide unfolded in front of the couple's three kids at their home in Westchester County, New York. According to Yonkers police, the former NYPD detective shot his wife, Arlene O'Neil, shortly after a disagreement early Wednesday morning, at around 7 a.m. He then shot himself. It is not clear what the dispute was about.
