India has over 11.5 lakh children vulnerable to child marriage: NCPR report

A study by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has found over 11.5 lakh children across 27 states and seven Union territories at risk of child marriage. The majority are school dropouts or have been absent without intimation. Uttar Pradesh leads with more than 5 lakh vulnerable children.
