Vedanta, Oil India, Hindustan Zinc emerge preferred bidders in critical mineral auctions

India took a step towards self-reliance in critical minerals. The Mines Ministry announced winners for eight mineral blocks. Hindustan Zinc Limited, Vedanta, and Oil India were among the winners. These blocks, rich in phosphorite, graphite, and vanadium, are crucial for high-tech and green energy sectors.
