Delhi School Reopen News LIVE: Will Schools Remain Closed Tomorrow in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon? Updates

Delhi Schools have been closed for over a week now due to pollution in the capital region. The Supreme Court last week had reprimanded the governments and asked for immediate action. With Delhi’s Air Quality crossing hazardous levels, the government of Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh had ordered the closure of Schools in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Gurgaon following severe health emergency. The air quality in Delhi, however, has improved over the weekend. Delhi’s AQI improved from Severe to ‘Very Poor’ on Sunday morning and was recorded at 370. The same further showed signs of improvement by the end of the day. The last bulletin of Central Pollution Control Board has shown improvement of air quality across NCR region.With improvement in pollution levels, the next question is now whether schools would reopen from tomorrow – November 24, 2024 or not. Last amendments in the guidelines suggest that schools should remain closed under GRAP III as well. Check where will schools reopen in Delhi NCR and where they will remain closed tomorrow.
