Rape-convicted Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh walks out of jail on 20-day parole

Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has been released on a 20-day parole from Sunaria jail in Haryana. He will stay at the Dera ashram in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat. Singh is currently serving a 20-year sentence for rape and was also convicted of murder. He has been barred from participating in election activities.
