Why rival browsers want EU to take action against Microsoft Edge

Web browser developers Vivaldi, Waterfox, Wavebox, and the Open Web Advocacy group have called on the European Union to take action against Microsoft for allegedly promoting its Edge browser unfairly on Windows. The developers argue that Edge being the default browser gives it an undue advantage, urging regulators to subject it to the Digital Markets Act.
