Air India flight circles after failure to land at Trichy Airport; emergency services on standby

An Air India flight from Trichy to Sharjah encountered a technical issue due to hydraulic failure and is currently circling in the air to burn off fuel before landing at Trichy airport. To ensure safety, over 20 ambulances and fire tenders are on standby at the airport, according to Airport Director Gopalakrishnan.
