Trinamool Congress leader Kunal Ghosh has questioned the silence of prominent singers Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal regarding the arrest of singer-composer Sanjay Chakraborty on charges of sexually assaulting a minor. Ghosh, in a post on X, asked if the artists, who have been vocal on social issues in the past, would speak out about this case or remain silent. Chakraborty, brother of renowned musician Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty, was arrested in Mumbai and remanded to police custody after allegations surfaced in August.
