BJP, allies clean sweep six assembly seats in Assam and Meghalaya bypolls

The BJP and its allies secured victory in all six assembly seats in Assam and Meghalaya bypolls. The Congress party failed to win any seats. The BJP won three seats, including Samaguri, a minority-dominated constituency in Assam. Its allies, AGP and UPPL, won one seat each in Assam.
