140 women killed daily by partners or family: UN report

According to the UN report, out of the 85,000 women killed by men in 2023, 60% were murdered by a partner or family member. Africa registered the highest rates of femicides linked to intimate partners and family members, with 21,700 victims, followed by the Americas and Oceania.
