Russia Sues Shell Units

Russia is suing eight of Shell’s units, according to court documents revealed by Reuters on Friday. Shell has withdrawn from its operations in Russia following the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Now Russian officials and authorities are suing a number of units of the UK-based supermajor in a lawsuit filed with an Arbitration Court in Moscow and dated October 2, Reuters reports.
