Shinde cancels appointment of Gauri Lankesh murder accused

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde cancels the appointment of Shrikant Pangarkar, accused in journalist Gauri Lankesh's murder, following criticism. Pangarkar, involved in the Nallasopara arms haul case, was recently granted bail; he was previously designated to lead the Jalna assembly poll campaign.
