US CDC Recommends Second Dose Of This Year's COVID-19 Vaccine For Those Above 65 Years Of Age; Here's Why

Immunocompromised people and those who are over 65 years of age or older should get a second dose of this year’s COVID-19 vaccine - according to the latest recommendations from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In a statement, the CDC said the second dose should be received six months after the first dose. According to experts, it is better to follow the directives as vaccines not only prevent further infection but also protect from the side effects of long COVID-19.
