Haryana results: Vinesh Phogat triumphs in political debut, wins Julana seat by over 6,000 votes

Olympic wrestler Vinesh Phogat, now a Congress candidate, triumphed in her political debut by winning the Julana assembly seat in Haryana. She secured 65,080 votes, defeating BJP's Yogesh Kumar by a margin of 6,015 votes. Phogat, who previously retired from sports amid controversies, dedicated her victory to women and pledged to serve her constituency.
